CXR Anderson Jacobson, founded in 1973, is a global manufacturer of market leading Transmission and Network Access products. It is a subsidiary of EMRISE Corporation, an international manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronics components and subsystems and telecommunications equipment. CXR Anderson Jacobson designs, manufactures and markets products and systems intended for telecommunications and corporate networks.
The headquarters for CXR Anderson Jacobson is located in Abondant France, about 65km southwest of Paris and includes all the design, manufacturing and marketing for the company.
ANDERSON JACOBSON
ANDERSON JACOBSON was the name of the inventor of the acoustic modem. He was a well know pioneer in the telecommunication community who successfully designed and manufactured several telegraphic modems and multiplexers that were widely adopted in the industry.. In 1988 CXR, his main distributor, purchased the Anderson Jacobson company and integrated the whole team and technology into CXR .
All of the transmission and network access products are branded “CXR Anderson Jacobson”.
LEA
LEA is a well-known name for Test and Measurement Instrumentation designed for the telecommunication industry. LEA was acquired by CXR in 1990 and the complete range of products are now sold under the CXR Anderson Jacobson brand name.
